President

Maria Archila

Born and raised in El Salvador, Maria is in her second year of Master’s in International Development at Sciences Po Paris and the President of HDRI. Her interest lies in research that advances our understanding of pressing social issues. Maria is passionate about exploring gender equality, social inclusion, and the field of disability studies. Her goal in HDRI is for people to harness the power of research to contribute to a more equitable world where knowledge becomes a driving force for positive transformation.

Vice President

Domenica

Domenica is the Vice-President of HDRI and Master’s candidate of International Development at Sciences Po. Her upbringing in Ecuador has been a driving force behind Domenica's commitment to a career dedicated to contributing to societal improvement. Deeply passionate about the significant impact society can make by gaining a better understanding of the issues that currently affect us. She sees HDRI as the catalyst empowering each of us to contribute meaningfully from our areas of expertise.

Partnerships Director

Saroj

Fundraising and Partnerships Director at HDRI and a public health professional with over five years of experience working in diverse domains, such as the state bureaucracy, non-profit organizations, and social sector consulting firms. Has recently completed her second masters program in Global Public Health and Policy. Passionate about eradicating malnutrition and improving maternal and child health outcomes in low-income countries of the Global South. Co-founder of a social impact firm ‘ZealGrit Social Welfare Foundation’ in India.

Research&Publications Director

Gourangi

Gourangi comes from India, and recently graduated from Sciences Po Paris, where she was enrolled in Master in Social Policy and Social Innovation. Pious about exploring the topics of social inequalities and inclusion, with a focus on fair education policy, promoting gender equity, and ensuring inclusion in higher education.

Events Director

Gurgen

21 years old, originally from Armenia, now living in Italy, Genova, Gurgen is the Events Director of HDRI. He is studying International Law specialization on Human rights. For him, HDRI is the best place to achieve his goals and strategies of the experience as taking a position and being member of wide community.

Communications Director

Maria Magdalena

Maria Magdalena comes from Poland and works as Communications Director at HDRI. She shares the zest for research and, well, human development-Maria enjoys seeing how everything improves with time! For her, HDRI is a place to work with different persectives and cultures, and to always see the new aspects to a human life.
