Updated: Jun 6, 2023

Climate change is considered the biggest risk to global health of this century. To sustain the achievements made in the global health arena so far, continued efforts are needed to address its direct and indirect consequences. Conversely, losing focus from the climate crisis may exacerbate its negative effects on global health, as shown by the current COVID-19 pandemic, with potential irreversible results.
